Terms for using homeshare.no: who can send a form, why an enquiry is not binding, rights to content you upload, our liability and the law that applies.
About the website
The website homeshare.no is run by HomeShare AS, organisation number 935 450 551, Tangen 24, 4608 Kristiansand S, Norway. You can reach us at support@homeshare.no.
These terms apply when you use the website and when you send the form for companies or the form for landlords. They do not cover renting or letting a home through HomeShare. That is agreed in writing, case by case.

Who can send a form
The form for companies is for you if you represent a company that needs housing for its employees. The form for landlords is for companies and private persons who have a home to rent out. If you send as a private person, you must be over 18.
An enquiry is not binding
When you send a form, you ask us to get in touch. No agreement comes of it, and neither you nor we are committed to anything. An offer from us is not binding either, and you can say no. An agreement to rent or let a home is only binding once it is written down and approved by both parties.
We look at every enquiry, but we cannot promise to find housing for every company, or that we have a use for every home. If it does not fit now, we may get in touch later.
What we expect from you
The information you send must be correct, and you must have the right to give it. If you send on behalf of a company, you must be allowed to do so. If you send in a home, you must own it or have the right to rent it out.
Do not send false or misleading enquiries, advertising or files that could harm our systems. Only upload PDF files with pictures and details of the home, and only pictures you have the right to share. Do not include details about other people beyond what is needed to assess the home.
Rights to content
Text, images, logos and design on the website belong to HomeShare AS or to others who have allowed us to use them. You may read the pages, share links to them and print them for your own use. You may not copy the content for commercial use without our permission.
What you upload, such as pictures and descriptions of a home, remains yours. You give us the right to store it, use it to assess the home and show it to relevant company customers when we suggest the home to them. This right lasts as long as we are handling your enquiry, or as long as an agreement about the home lasts.
Information on the website
We do our best to keep the information correct and up to date, but it is general and may change. Figures, descriptions and examples are not an offer. What applies to you is set out in the offer or agreement you receive from us.
The website links to some other websites. We are not responsible for their content.
Liability
We cannot promise that the website and the forms will always work or be free of errors. If your enquiry does not reach us, you can send it to support@homeshare.no.
We are not liable for losses caused by the website not working, or by you acting on the general information here. This does not apply if we have acted with gross negligence or intent, and it does not limit any rights you have by law that cannot be waived by agreement.

How we handle the personal data you send us is set out in our privacy notice.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version on the website when you send an enquiry applies to that enquiry.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If we disagree, we will first try to solve it together. If that fails, Agder District Court (Agder tingrett) is the venue. If you are a consumer, you may still bring the case before the court where you live, as the law entitles you to.
